The pattern of drainage network is influenced by geological factors and due to their impact on the flood situation of the areas, their attention will be very important. Considering the above, in this study, the lithology and morphology of Kashafrood basin has been investigated. This research is based on descriptive-analytical methods and has been done in two stages. In the first step, using the lithology status, the sub basins were evaluated and the drainage pattern of each sub basin was analyzed in relation to its lithology and finally, the distribution of major and minor fault lines of each sub basin was calculated. In the second step, the linear parameters of the drainage network and the geometrical parameters of the sub-basins are calculated and compared. Subsequently, after calculating the above parameters, the sub-basins in the two Binalood and Kopet Dagh zones are compared. The results indicate that different lithologies have led to different drainage patterns in the Binaloud and Kopet-Dagh basins. Also the results of linear parameters of waterways and geometrical parameters of basins indicate their differences in Binalood and Kopet Dagh zones. In the study of the mean linearity of the branching coefficient, the values obtained in the two zones did not show any significant difference, but the lower value of this parameter under the Kopet Dagh basins indicates an increase in the rankings, which is evident by the dendritic and rank evaluation of this problem. An overview of the area can also be obtained by examining the mean Gravilius coefficients and the form factor below the basins, so that the watersheds located in the Binalood zone are more extensible, which can be used to investigate issues such as floods.
