Craftsmanship is the embodiment of three elements of beauty, skill and thought, and since any handwritten product describes the historical, social and cultural characteristics of the place of production, it can be considered as an important factor in the recognition of culture and civilization. In recent years, the Iranian handmade carpet has undergone a period of decline and stagnation in international competitions with other countries. So, to create a competitive environment, these industries need to evolve, albeit not to the detriment of the overall structure of handicrafts and the specific characteristics of this art-industry. Therefore, considering the necessity of entrepreneurship in this section, identifying the characteristics of entrepreneurs as the successful people of society, makes it possible to develop these features in order to promote this spirit. This study is descriptive-analytic by identifying the individual and psychological factors affecting entrepreneurship and evaluating it among carpet weavers in Mahabad city. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed by SPSS. The first part of the analysis of the results is a correlation between individual and psychological factors. The results show that the correlation between these factors is moderate in the sample. The second part analyzes the differences between groups in having an entrepreneurial spirit. In this section, there is also a significant difference between different groups in having an entrepreneurial spirit.
