Population buoyancy is a new phenomenon of population displacement that has emerged as cities expand. This phenomenon is of a different nature to other demographic shifts. Floating population is the population that is present in the area due to the location of the area and the trips within the city. Iran's internal migration is affected by the sharp divergence of final labor returns in urban and rural areas, as well as across different economic, agricultural, industrial and service sectors within the regions. The present study is an attempt to investigate the factors affecting the population flotation by introducing the population of Rasht city as people who do not reside in Rasht. . The results of the research hypothesis test show that the economic factors affect the rate of population transfer. This means that economic incentives create a floating population in a place where the floating population responds to their needs and achieves their desired goals.
