An analysis of the economic effects of new irrigation methods in the development of agriculture

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the economic effects of new irrigation methods on the development of agriculture in rural areas of the central part of Khodabande city. The type of developmental applied research and its descriptive method is correlation. The statistical population of the research is the farmers using the new irrigation network in the central part of Khodabande city Based on Cochran's formula, out of 379 farmer households, 129 households implementing new methods were selected as the sample size. The validity of the questionnaire was examined by geography professors of Tabriz University after several stages of modification and revision. The reliability of the research tool was also confirmed by conducting a preliminary test and completing 30 questionnaires, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated at 89% for different sections. The results of the research show that there is a significant relationship between modern irrigation methods in the field of economic effects, so that the t value of modern irrigation methods is -2.220 and it shows the interest of farmers in the study area to use these methods.
