Planners always face challenges and obstacles in practice to attract citizen participation. In order to overcome these problems, implementing strategies to attract and encourage citizen participation in city affairs, including; creating a sense of trust, fair allocation of urban facilities to municipal areas, citizen consultation and local referendums, etc. is proposed. Accordingly, the aim of the present study is the role of municipalities in improving the urban environment with an approach to citizen satisfaction in Golestan city, which is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of method. The statistical population of this study was 650 municipal employees of this city, of which 242 were selected as a simple random sample using the Morgan table. In order to conduct this study, indicators of good urban management and sustainable urban development were asked from the statistical population by a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using SPSS and Amos software. The results of this study show that the indicators of participation, rule of law, justice, and accountability have a higher priority than the indicators of transparency, accountability, collective agreement, and efficiency and effectiveness in terms of the impact of good urban governance on the sustainable development of the city. Also, good urban management has a positive and significant impact on achieving sustainable development in Golestan city. اگر بخواهیم برای ایجاد مشارکت فعال شهروندان دنبال ابزاری مناسب باشیم، می توانیم جلب اعتماد شهروندان از سوی مسئولان شهری را مهم‌ترین ابزار قلمداد کنیم. همواره برنامه‌ریزان در عمل برای جلب مشارکت شهروندان با چالش‌ها و موانعی روبرویند، جهت غلبه بر این مشکلات، اجرای راهکارهای جلب و تشویق مشارکت شهروندان در امور شهر از جمله؛ ایجاد حس اعتماد، تخصیص عادلانه امکانات شهری نسبت به مناطق شهرداری، نظرخواهی از شهروندان و همه پرسی‌های محلی و... پیشنهاد می‌گردد. بر همین اساس هدف پزوهش حاضر نقش شهرداریها در ارتقاء محیط شهری با رویکرد رضایتمندی شهروندان در شهر گلستان می باشد که از نظر هدف کاربردی و به لحاظ روش توصیفی-تحلیلی است. جامعه آماری این پژوهش 650 نفر کارکنان شهرداری این شهر بوده که با استفاده از جدول مورگان تعداد 242 نفر به صورت تصادفی ساده بعنوان نمونه آماری انتخاب شدند. به منظور انجام این پژوهش شاخص های مدیریت خوب شهری و توسعه پایدار شهری توسط پرسشنامه از جامعه آماری به پرسش گذاشته شده است. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS و Amos انجام گرفته است. نتایج این پژوهش نشان می دهد؛ شاخص های مشارکت، قانون مداری، عدالت و پاسخگویی از لحاظ میزان تاثیرگذاری حکمروائی خوب شهری برتوسعه پایدار شهر از اولویت بیشتری نسبت به شاخص های شفاف سازی، مسئولیت پذیری، توافق جمعی و کارایی و اثربخشی برخوردارند. همچنین مدیریت خوب شهری در دستیابی به توسعه پایدار در شهر گلستان دارای تأثیر مثبت و معناداری می باشد. https://www.gahr.ir/article_214883_614bf7ded2452eb5de02b0b3eff7c9c6.pdf
