The basic principles of good governance prioritize community participation as a tool to strengthen a government characterized by transparency, accountability, inclusiveness, and responsiveness to citizens' wishes and goals The purpose of this research is to examine the role of citizens' participation in the success of urban management in Dezful and to provide appropriate solutions to promote citizens' participation in urban management. The current study is applied in terms of purpose, descriptive-analytical in terms of nature and method, and survey in terms of collection method. In order to analyze the data, inferential statistics (one-sample t-test) were used in the spss software environment, and Friedman's test was used to prioritize the considered variables. The research results indicate that the political structure of governance (4/75), city reconstruction (4/20) and citizen influence and supervision (3/88) have the highest priority. And on the other hand, the lowest average was related to democratization (2.32), representation of citizens' power (1.40) and collective tendencies (1.20). مشارکت شهروندان در برنامه ریزی مدیریت شهری و فرآیندهای تصمیم گیری در چارچوب حکومت دموکراتیک و مشارکتی اهمیت قابل توجهی دارد. اصول اساسی حکمرانی خوب، مشارکت جامعه را به عنوان ابزاری برای تقویت دولتی که با شفافیت، پاسخگویی، فراگیر بودن، و پاسخگویی به خواسته ها و اهداف شهروندان مشخص می شود، اولویت دارد. . هدف از این پژوهش بررسی نقش مشارکت شهروندان در موفقیت مدیریت شهری دزفول و ارائه راه کارهای مناسب جهت ارتقا مشارکت شهروندان در مدیریت شهری است. مطالعه حاضر از لحاظ هدف، کاربردی و از نظر ماهیت و روش، توصیفی-تحلیلی و از نظر روش گردآوری، پیمایشی است. به منظور تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها، از آمار استنباطی (آزمون تی تک نمونه) در محیط نرم افزارspss و همچنین برای اولویت بندی متغیرهای موردنظر، از آزمون فریدمن استفاده شده است. نتایج پژوهش حاکی از آن است که ساختار سیاسی حاکمیت (75/4) ، بازسازی شهر(20/4) و تاثیر گذاری و نظارت شهروندی (88/3) ، بیشترین اولویت را دارا هستند. و در مقابل کمترین میانگین نیز مربوط به دموکراسی نمودن (32/2) ، بازنمایی قدرت شهروندان (40/1) و تمایلات جمعی(20/1) بوده است. https://www.gahr.ir/article_233711_ad30263040f6df160b23e35f812f7fa4.pdf
