The research was conducted in two stages: a qualitative-exploratory stage and a descriptive-survey stage. <br /> <br /> In the first stage, with a pathology-oriented approach, data were collected through library research and in-depth semi-structured interviews with experts, investors, and individuals with managerial and executive experience. The data were analyzed using coding techniques. In the second stage, a questionnaire was employed to examine and rank the identified factors. Following the identification of barriers and challenges to investment promotion, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was applied to prioritize them. <br /> <br /> The findings indicate that improving investment in the province depends on identifying the key barriers and offering practical solutions aligned with the region’s economic capacities. Therefore, the formulation of operational plans and the prioritization of actions can contribute to improving the investment environment and attracting more investors هدف این پژوهش، شناسایی و اولویت‌بندی مهم‌ترین موانع جذب و افزایش سرمایه‌گذاری و نیز راهکارهای مؤثر برای ارتقای سرمایه‌گذاری در استان کهگیلویه و بویراحمد با تأکید تأکید بر جغرافیای اقتصادی آن است. این پژوهش در مرحلة اول کیفی و اکتشافی و در مرحلة دوم از نوع توصیفی – پیمایشی است.. در مرحله نخست، با رویکردی آسیب‌شناسانه، داده‌ها از طریق مطالعات کتابخانه‌ای و مصاحبه‌های عمیق نیمه‌ساختاریافته با خبرگان، سرمایه‌گذاران و افراد دارای تجربه مدیریتی و اجرایی گردآوری شد و با روش کدگذاری تحلیل گردید. در مرحله دوم، پژوهش به‌صورت توصیفی-پیمایشی و با استفاده از پرسشنامه انجام شد تا عوامل شناسایی‌شده آزمون و رتبه‌بندی شوند. پس از شناسایی موانع و چالش‌های افزایش سرمایه‌گذاری، از روش تحلیل سلسله مراتبی (AHP) برای اولویت‌بندی آن‌ها استفاده شده است. یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که برای افزایش سرمایه‌گذاری در استان، شناسایی موانع اصلی و ارائه راهکارهای اجرایی و متناسب با ظرفیت‌های اقتصادی منطقه ضروری است. بر این اساس، تدوین برنامه‌های عملی و اولویت‌بندی اقدامات می‌تواند زمینه را برای بهبود محیط سرمایه‌گذاری و جذب بیشتر سرمایه‌گذاران فراهم کند
