Abstract Overall, the sustainable development of the city is due to the sustained and constructive interactions of humans with humans and humans with the environment. Interactions that have made the city over time, environmentally sustainable, economically sustainable, socially cohesive, and physically beautiful. Based on the bilateral relationship between sustainable development and sustainable tourism, in order for tourism to contribute to the sustainable development of the city, its impacts on the city must be identified and considered. The purpose of this study is to analyzing the relation of tourism and sustainable urban development. The research method in this article is descriptive-analytical. The method of data collection is document-library. In fact, by the study of domestic and foreign scientific literature that was published about tourism and sustainable urban development, have tried to deduction of these studies for write it. It is hoped that it will be able to provide relevant content to its audiences in order to better understand this issue. Keywords: Tourism, Urban Tourism, Sustainable Urban Development.
