Some urban areas face significant challenges in the areas of physical and environmental degradation, social deprivation, insecurity, unemployment, economic inequality, housing shortages and traffic. One of the main goals of the urban planning process is to maintain and improve the quality of life and, consequently, to improve the quality of the urban environment through the implementation of urban plans and programs. In the present study, the effect of the executive plan to improve and improve the quality of life of Beryank neighborhood, which was prepared for Beryank neighborhood in 2005, in terms of quality of urban environment in Beryank neighborhood, including environmental, functional, aesthetic, physical, economic and social dimensions has taken. The research method in this research is descriptive-applied and library studies have been used to form the theoretical basis of the research and field studies (questionnaires) have been used to collect data. The statistical population of this study is Beryank neighborhood located in district 10 of Tehran with 28329 people. Using random sampling method, 379 people were selected as a sample and SPSS and Arc GIS softwares were used to analyze the data. Physical, economic and social quality of urban environment were examined. result show that after the implementation of the plan, except for the physical and functional dimensions in which little improvement has been achieved, the implementation of the plan to improve the quality of life in Beryank neighborhood not only failed to improve the situation in other dimensions, but these dimensions They have been declining and the level of dissatisfaction with these dimensions and the quality of the urban environment in general has increased in the eyes of residents.
