Since the optimal use of land and the organization of the urban body based on efficiency, environmental protection, and social justice are the main issues of urban planning, Location selection and pattern of spatial spatial distribution of urban uses should be in line with meeting the needs of all sections of the society for the well-being and comfort of the citizens. Therefore, it is important to measure the qualitative and quantitative uses in the spatial organization of the city and the spatial suitability of the uses in the specified area; Sports uses in cities are always among the most important and popular uses and are met with enthusiastic reception by the people. Considering the importance of this section of the mentioned uses; In the present study, the distribution and dispersion of sports uses in the spatial container of Ardabil city has been investigated and analyzed from the perspective of spatial distribution and dispersion.The current research is applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of its method. In this research, sports uses were investigated and analyzed using ArcGIS software and the tools and functions available in it. In this research, an attempt was made to investigate the distribution of sports uses in the city of Ardabil by regions, districts, and neighborhoods of the municipality, and the frequency and amount of Z related to the area devoted to sports uses, as well as the percentages and ratios related to the area allocated to the mentioned uses in the mentioned spatial separations should be investigated. Part of the obtained results showed that based on the results of hot spot analysis of Ardabil regions, districts and neighborhoods; region 3, district 3-2 and neighborhood 3-1 have the highest Z value and are the hottest spots in terms of establishing the mentioned uses.
