Abstract
Geotourism means geographic tourism that emphasizes geological and geomorphological features as the basis of all human activities and geographical features. The aim of this research is to measure the geotourism and geomorphological capacities of the touristic villages of Shiraz city using the Kobalikova model and Violet model. For this purpose, three geotourism areas including: Qalat, Chehl Cheshme Koroni, and Dashtak have been selected. In the current research, the Kubalikova model, which emphasizes scientific, educational, economic, and conservation criteria, was used, as well as the Fiolet model, which examines geotourist areas based on four criteria: origin of formation, geographical distribution, tourism, and access status. The results showed that according to the Kubalikova model, Dashtak geotourist area (3.39) has the highest score compared to other geotourist areas, and also the results from Fiolet model showed that among the geotourist areas, Dashtak village with a score of (8.86) It has various capabilities compared to other regions from the total of effective objects. Chehl Cheshme village got the lowest score in the results of the Kobalikova model and the lowest score in the geopark (tourism) model (7.38). The results obtained from the combination of Violet's model showed that Dashtak geotourism area has favorable conditions for the development and attraction of tourists in Shiraz city. Therefore, it can be concluded that by identifying and creating facilities in the geotourist areas of Shiraz city, it will lead to the attraction of tourists and the development of welfare infrastructures.
