Stratification of Ardabil city areas based on urban vitality indicators

Abstract
Due to the ever-increasing expansion of the urban population and car life, the vitality of urban spaces is the most important concern of city planners and managers. Because creating a lively environment increases the level of desirable social interactions, creates an attractive, lively, dynamic atmosphere for citizens. Therefore, the aim of the current research is to stratify the areas of Ardabil city based on the indicators of urban vitality. The current research is applied in terms of purpose and survey in terms of descriptive-analytical method. The statistical population of the research consists of the citizens of the 5 districts of Ardabil city. The method of collecting data and information was based on documentary and library studies and survey (questionnaire). In the course of data analysis, firstly, the coefficient of importance of the 4 studied dimensions (social, economic, physical and environmental) was obtained using Shannon's entropy model, and then, in order to prioritize the areas of Ardabil city in terms of the degree of urban vitality indicators, the model was used. Prometheus was exploited. The results obtained from the application of the mentioned model showed that the second region with a score of (0.694) and the third region with a score of (-0.365) are in the last place. According to the results obtained in the present research, it is necessary to plan to improve and improve the state of urban vitality indicators according to the resulting prioritization.
