This research is developmental in terms of purpose and descriptive and survey in terms of nature and analytical. The statistical population includes all the villages with rural ict offices in Islamabad Gharb city, including 28 villages, and the number of 11 villages out of 28 villages is randomly selected and 362 people out of 6200 people are available as a sample based on the Cochran formula and by random sampling. were selected The research tool includes two questionnaires of information and communication technology and environmental knowledge and behaviors. The collected data were analyzed based on t-test. The results showed that information and communication technology has an effect in improving the knowledge and behavior towards the environment among the villagers of Islamabad city. This is so that in the section "Awareness of villagers from information and communication technology offices"; The results of the t-test showed that there is a significant difference between wealthy and disadvantaged villagers in terms of source of electricity generation, definition of hazardous waste, causes of river pollution, and destination of household waste. Also, there is no significant difference between rich and poor villagers in terms of definition of biodiversity, benefits of marshes, function of ozone layer and sources of carbon monoxide. In the section "Using the services of information and communication technology offices by villagers", it was observed that between the villagers who have and those who do not have it, in terms of following the advice of environmental experts regarding the protection of the environment, cooperating with the water management measures of the government, turning off unnecessary heaters and giving There is a significant difference between the extra accessories and others. Also, there is no significant difference between rich and poor villagers in terms of delivering extra clothes to others, re-adding waste paper and re-using glasses.
