Abstract
Knowledge plays a key role in society, contemporary business and economic growth. Knowledge allows making the right decisions at the individual and business level because competitive advantages depend on appropriate decision-making, which in turn is based on the availability of relevant knowledge. Agricultural knowledge-based companies are also companies that are engaged in creating knowledge and innovation and using modern methods for improvement and development to create value in a competitive environment. The use of knowledge management in organizational performance has become a vital factor for the sustainability and sustainable development of agricultural knowledge-based companies. The purpose of this research is to investigate different knowledge management models and patterns and analyze them based on the characteristics of knowledge management generations in agricultural knowledge-based companies. Investigations showed that using a suitable combination of knowledge management models in agricultural knowledge-based companies, focusing on the characteristics of the fourth generation of knowledge management, is the most suitable method for designing a comprehensive and sustainable model. Therefore, it is suggested that agricultural knowledge-based companies focus on transformational management and its characteristics in applying agricultural knowledge management.
