The purpose of this research is to analyze the management development of rural spaces with an emphasis on good rural governance in Urmia city. The current research is based on the applied method and is descriptive and analytical in nature. The tool for collecting information in the field method was a researcher-made questionnaire, the validity of the questionnaire was confirmed according to expert professors in the field of geography, rural planning, and rural sociology, and its validation was also obtained with the Cronbach's alpha method (0.85), the statistical population of the research, The residents of the villages on the edge of Lake Urmia (20 villages as a sample) were used to determine the sample size using Cochran's formula, and the sample size was 380, which was distributed randomly in the study area. It is a data analysis tool using Spss21 software. which was done to analyze and process data from sample t-tests (T) and Spearman's correlation, and to rank the sample villages in terms of the state of rural governance using the TOPSIS multi-criteria technique and Friedman's test. Also, the criterion of good rural governance in this research was based on 7 components, justice, participation, accountability, accountability, supervision, participation and transparency with 44 items. According to the examination of sample T-Tech data and the examination of the significance level of rural governance indicators, as well as the ranking of the management spaces of villages based on the Friedman test and the TOPSIS data model, the results showed that the villages of the studied area have a relatively weak level of space in terms of governance. They have a good village. And out of 20 villages, only 3 villages are in good condition, 5 villages are in average condition and 12 villages are in poor condition of rural governance.
