Abstract
In today's competitive world, organizations are looking for new ways to improve employee performance. The largest and most important asset of any organization is its human capital, which overshadows other investments, and achieving the organization's goals depends largely on the proper and correct performance of its employees. The components of social intelligence with emphasis on gender control in the second half of 1402. This research is of a descriptive-survey type, and its statistical population is all employees of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Mazandaran Province. A total of 128 people were selected as a sample through cluster sampling. The data of this study were collected through a questionnaire. To measure social intelligence, job performance and demographic variables, the questionnaires of Silvera et al. (2001), Patterson (1989) and a researcher-made questionnaire were used, respectively. Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests, Pearson correlation coefficient, multivariate regression and T-test were used to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between all components of social intelligence, namely social information processing, social skills, social awareness and job performance, but in the regression equations that measured the effect of different dimensions, the two dimensions of social awareness and social skills had a positive effect on job performance, but the social information processing dimension did not have the power to predict job performance. Also, t-test analysis showed that there is no significant difference between male and female gender in terms of social intelligence.
