Abstract
. The main motivation of the present study is to examine the ecological footprint and identify the cultural, economic, social, and infrastructural variables that are influential in the formation of responsible behavior towards the environment; identifying these variables can be effective in providing solutions to improve the quality of the environment. In the present study, in order to design the research framework, first, the basic concepts of the research are examined in general, then, considering the general objective of the research and the specific objectives of the methodology, the method and the way in which the variables are operationalized are described. In this study, the method of collecting data and information is documentary and survey (interviews and questionnaires) and field studies. Respondents included 132 people from 16 villages with more than 200 households, with a population of 60,370, and 18,155 households with experience and knowledge in the field were selected. Sampling was based on simple random sampling and was available. According to the research findings, keywords such as biological capacity and climate change are among the important keywords that have been raised in the field of ecological footprint research between 2014 and 2016. This is while from the second half of 2018 onwards and in 2020, the keyword environmental security is a new word that has created a special link with the word urbanization. The results of the external correlation analysis between the variables indicate that there is a strong relationship between economic capital and cultural and social capital, while there is also an effective and strong relationship between cultural and social capital and consumer lifestyle; Therefore, the ecological footprint is affected by changes in the lifestyle of individuals, which are dependent on the cultural and social capital available in the local community.
