Abstract

Information technology is creating a new revolution that is no less important than the industrial revolution. This study examines (the role of ICT in attracting the participation of local communities) in the village of Liwan Sharghi, Bandar Gaz, Golestan Province, which is a descriptive method. - A survey was conducted in which the method of interviewing and then the method of virtual ethnography was used in the form of online presence in the collective communication network of forest supporters of Liwan village and monitoring of group activities, the results of which are the main issues raised in this network. It is possible to talk about what topics and to what extent this space has played an effective role in informing and informing members. Structures show that the study sample considers increasing communication skills, participation and awareness in the use of information and communication technology. This information can be used in environmental, social, cultural, economic and other issues. The development of information technology is of particular importance because it can increase productivity and well-being while increasing skills and capabilities, as well as enhancing environmental knowledge by increasing awareness and access to information.
