Abstract

The phenomenon of urbanization has been happening at a significant speed in recent decades. It is predicted that by 2030, about 60% of the world's population will live in cities. One of the issues and challenges that threaten the urban society is the issue of providing suitable housing. The concept of suitable housing has wide dimensions, and sustainable housing is one of them. One of the goals of this research is the comparative study of sustainable housing indicators in 12 districts of Shiraz city. In general, the method of collecting information in this research is library and survey. In other words, in addition to extracting data related to sustainable housing indicators through documents and books and analyzing them, field studies (questionnaires) have also been used to obtain the level of residents' satisfaction. Data analysis tools are SPSS and GIS software. In the current research, the MCDM model has been used to rank the sub-indices. In order to measure the level of housing sustainability, the ranking of each region was determined based on the indicators. Based on this ranking and analysis, a questionnaire on the amount of sustainable housing in the regions of Shiraz city was prepared in three ranges of stability, semi-sustainability, and instability. The results of the research show that regions 1, 3, 6 are stable and regions 8, 9, 11, and 7 are unstable. is. Other regions that include regions 2, 4, 5, 10, 12 form a semi-stable spectrum.
