Investigating the Socioeconomic and Social Factors Affecting the Environmental Information of Villagers; Paveh Villages

Abstract

Today, environmental strategy in rural planning is the organization of activities related to natural resources with the aim of protecting the environment through awareness of local communities. In this regard, the present study seeks to explain the spatial analysis of the economic and social factors affecting the environmental awareness of villagers in Paveh. The present research is applied in a practical way and in terms of collecting information of survey type. The statistical population of the present study is supervisors of rural households in Paveh city. To select sample households, all villages encoded according to the category (in terms of household), and using the Mini-Tab software, eight villages were randomly selected (four villages in the mountainous area and four Villages in the valley areas), thus the total population of selected households was 2085. Based on the Cochran formula, a sample of 280 individuals was selected, proportional allocation, between the eight sample villages Systematic randomized distribution. The main tool of data collection is a questionnaire, which validity of the research instrument was confirmed by using formal validity (referring to experts). To determine the reliability evaluation, the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used which according to the obtained number ( 0.88) It can be said that the research questionnaire has a high reliability. The findings of the research indicate that there is a meaningful relationship between the social factors and environmental awareness of the villagers. Also, the results indicate that there is no difference between the economic factors and the environmental awareness of the villagers. There is no meaningful relationship.
