Participatory management system is a system of intellectual and practical cooperation of all members of an organization with different levels of management of that organization. In this system, all members of the organization actively think about ways to solve problems and improve the productivity of the organization and present the results to the organization in the form of plans and suggestions. In this way, the organization uses a system of both thinking and thinking to achieve the goals of the organization. The management system, in a sense, is in fact a kind of council management system with its own form. In this system, the thoughts and creativity of all members of the organization are valued and used in decision making. The existence and flow of this system has several positive and desirable results and consequences that play an important role in the resource development process. The purpose of this study was to investigate the role and position of participatory management on urban development. Scientific and library resources were used to examine the theoretical foundations of the research and also a questionnaire was used to quantitatively examine the relationship between variables. For this purpose, 50 questionnaires were distributed among urban experts. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS software and Pearson statistical test. The results show that the relationship between participatory management and urban development is a direct relationship that can improve urban development.
