This research has been carried out to investigate the time-space of convective rains (April to September) in selected stations in the northwest of Iran. For this purpose, the daily rainfall data of 17 selected synoptic stations of East Azarbaijan, West Azarbaijan, and Ardabil provinces in a statistical period of 17 years (1379-1395) were received from the National Meteorological Organization. The findings of the research showed that the time series of total annual precipitation in East Azarbaijan province shows a slight increasing trend and a decreasing trend in West Azarbaijan and Ardabil provinces. The changing trend in Sardasht, Urmia, Mahabad, Ahar, Sarab, Tabriz, Benab, Maragheh, Ardabil, and Khalkhal stations is decreasing, in Mako, Marand, Meshkinshahr, and Pars-abad, increasing and in Khoi, Bostan-abad and Midane without change is In terms of time, the highest convective precipitation was received in 1383 and the lowest amount of convective precipitation was received in all three provinces in 1387. Spatially, the core of maximum and minimum annual average convective precipitation in the region is located on Sardasht (180 mm) and Maragheh (74 mm), respectively. The maps of variable spatial distribution and the location of the maximum core at an altitude of 1400 meters and the minimum core at the station located in Chale Urmia show the important and noticeable role of the topography of the area, the height and position of the station about the surrounding roughness in addition to the influence of latitude. It is geographical. The clusters obtained based on the average annual convective precipitation of the period also confirm this.
