Climate change and global warming have highlighted the importance of addressing thermal issues in urban environments. Thermal comfort is crucial for citizens' use of these spaces. This study aims to evaluate thermal comfort in a specific urban design by analyzing components that affect it. Utilizing meteorological data from Metronome software and simulations with Envi-Mat 5.6.1, we assessed thermal comfort using the UTCI and SET models. Simulations focused on the coldest (January 22, 2022) and hottest (July 16, 2022) days and key hours from MetNorm software. Results show that on the hottest day, UTCI values ranged from 31 to 43 degrees, indicating significant heat stress in the area, with only regions with adequate vegetation showing lower discomfort levels. The SET criterion corroborated that the area is predominantly outside the comfort range. Conversely, on the coldest day, UTCI values spanned from -21 to 8 degrees, reflecting extreme cold outside the comfort zone, except in areas near buildings with vegetation, which offered some thermal comfort due to urban wind patterns.
