Participation in development programs, especially rural development, is of great importance, as no program can succeed without the involvement of the people. This issue becomes particularly significant for rural women, as they comprise about half of the rural population and play an important role as a considerable workforce in the production of agricultural and food products, as well as in various common activities in the village. Therefore, this research aims to identify the factors affecting the level of participation of rural women in agricultural activities in the Dariyan District. The research methodology is descriptive-analytical and based on survey and documentary methods. The predominant approach of the research is survey-based, and some of the necessary information has been collected using documentary methods. Geographically, the statistical population of this research includes the villages located in the Dariyan District, with the study population consisting of women from rural households. The sampling method includes villages with more than 20 households, and since all eight villages in this district have populations exceeding 20 households, all of them will be examined. In this study, women residing in the villages will be the target population for questioning. These villages collectively have 2,315 households, from which 330 households have been selected as the sample size based on Cochran’s method. Statistical methods (descriptive and inferential) have been used for data processing. The research results indicated that there is a significant difference in the level of participation of women in agricultural activities among the sample villages, and it was found that women's participation in agricultural activities is higher in the socio-cultural aspect than in the other two aspects (economic and educational-extension). In this context, the results indicate a significant direct relationship between the education variable, household members, and years of residence with the women's participation component.
