English

In this research, an attempt has been made to analyze and examine the attitudes of the citizens of Ashkezar, which is one of the main tourist destinations in Yazd province, towards the effects of tourism on the "management-infrastructure" and "natural environment" indicators. This research, in terms of method, is of the survey type based on the use of questionnaires and subjective indicators. Using Cochran's formula, the desired sample size was estimated to be 100 people, and statistical methods were used for analysis in the SPSS software. Based on the research findings, it can be stated that in the natural environment factor, "tourism development" in the city of Ashkezar has no effect on 4 items and has a positive effect on the rest. Additionally, in the managerial-infrastructural factor, "tourism development" in this city has a positive effect on all items. Therefore, it can be said that the management of the city of Ashkezar has been successful in these two factors. The results of this research indicated that "tourism development" has an impact on the "quality of life" of the people in the city of Ashkezar, and this impact is positive. Additionally, the hypothesis regarding the effect of "tourism development" on the two factors of "natural environment" and "management and infrastructure" was confirmed in a positive direction. Considering that no research has been conducted on the effects of tourism development in the city of Ashkezar so far, the results of this study in examining and evaluating the impacts of tourism development on the quality of life can be important and effective for both urban managers and tourism officials in the city of Ashkezar for successful planning.
