This article examines the influence of geographic factors on Islamic conquests during the era of the Prophet of Islam and the rightful caliphs. Geography, especially strategic positions, mountains, seas and natural resources, shipping routes, has played an important role in the success or failure of Muslims in battles and conquering new lands, and even the progress and prosperity of some countries, whether it is trade or communication with other lands. The present research analyzes the geography of Arabia during the battles period as well as the lands under Muslim attack with a descriptive analytical method. The results of the research show that geographical factors have not only been effective in the victories of Muslims, but these factors have acted as important drivers in the development and expansion of the Islamic empire, and have been able to make some cities appear superior to other regions. The reviews of this article also show the influence of geographical locations on war and strategic decisions and the life of Muslims in that era.
