Adopting a modern geomorphological approach within search and rescue organizations is a strategic necessity for crisis management across three levels: disaster prevention and mitigation, operational preparedness for optimal resource allocation, and crisis management efficiency to ensure the safety of emergency teams. This research aims to translate scientific predictions into operational readiness to minimize casualties and damages. In this study, four common hazards were investigated: fluvial flooding and landslides in the Chitgar catchment, earthquakes in Alborz Province, and Aeolian erosion in Qom Provinc. Utilizing a multi-criteria approach involving analysis of topographic maps, digital elevation models (DEM), satellite imagery, and field validation Fuzzy Logic (for fluvial flooding, landslide, and earthquake zonation), the IRIFR model (for Aeolian erosion), the SCS-CN model (for runoff estimation), and the Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) method (for earthquake magnitude). The results indicated that 21.78% area of the Chitgar catchment falls in high/very high fluvial flood vulnerability zones (including Vardij, Jihun Varidij, Varish, and Jihun Nader villages), while 17.24% is susceptible to landslides (specifically in Azgi and Vardij villages). In Alborz, 27% of the province is categorized under high/very high earthquake vulnerability zones (centered around on Taleghan, its surrounding villages, and the outskirts of Karaj). In Qom Province, the identification of over 20 aeolian erosion hotspots reveals that 59.58% of the province is highly high/very high Aeolian vulnerability zones (primarily in the eastern semi-arid regions near Lake Namak and Masileh, and across Gazaran, Taghrud, Salafchegan, northern Kahak, and parts of western/northwestern Qom). Ultimately, while rescue organizations function as the executive apparatus, zonation maps act as their "intellectual brain." This synergy facilitates a paradigm shift in disaster management from reactive emergency response to proactive, predictive mitigation.
