The historical textures are considered as the identity of each nation and country and precious works of culture, knowledge of architecture and local urban planning. Considering the destruction and deterioration of these textures during different periods, their regeneration is considered one of the basic priorities of most governments. Considering the importance of regeneration historical textures, the present study was written with the aim of pathology of the regeneration system of historical textures in Tabriz metropolis and providing executive solutions in order to achieve the desired situation. The research method in the present study is mixed (quantitative-qualitative), with developmental-applicative purpose and analytical-exploratory nature. In line with data analysis, Q factor analysis model and t-test were used in SPSS software. Also, the statistical population of the current research includes city managers and experts and academic elites, 20 people have been selected as a sample size based on Elite Delphi method. The findings of the research show that five main factors influence the failure of the system of regeneration historical textures in Tabriz metropolis, which are respectively: the absence of integrated management, the inefficiency of plans and programs, the lack of coordination and participation, the lack of institutional capacity building and the lack of emphasis on knowledge-oriented. These 5 factors explain a total of 80.402% of the total variance, that is, the lack of proper reproduction of historical textures in Tabriz city includes about 80% of the extracted effects (factors) and about 20% includes other factors that are outside the discussions proposed in this research. Also, the degree of realization of sustainable and integrated indicators in the system of regeneration the historical textures of Tabriz metropolis is in an unfavorable situation.
