Man-made relationship with nature creates geo-tourism. In geo-tourism, geomorphological phenomena prevail more than other geological phenomena. The audience is not only geomorphology and geology specialists and experts, but also ordinary tourists and nature enthusiasts. The purpose of this research is to evaluate and analyze the potentials of the geological and touristic destinations of Astara city (case study: Hiran Pass, Lawton Waterfall, Steel Lagoon). The studied methods are the Hadzik and Fiolet method. In the Hadzik model, the value and importance of each geo-tourist place in this method is estimated by scientific value indicators and the surplus values of that geo-tourist place. Based on the results of the scientific value of surplus and vulnerability according to the experts and visitors of Hiran Pass geotourist area, Laton Waterfall and Steel Lagoon, respectively, the values of (22.36), (48.29) and (69.51) were allocated to themselves. Based on this, the Hiran Pass geotourist area has a high and relatively good potential compared to the other two regions. The results of the Violet model also showed that based on the studied indicators, the geotourist area of Hiran Pass has the highest score and the Hiran Laton Cascade area is in the second place. and Talab Steel region were ranked third in terms of geo-tourist capability, so it can be concluded that the geo-tourist region of Hiran Garneh has more attraction power in terms of geo-tourist capability than the studied regions in the direction of geo-tourism development. Also, it is suggested that in future studies to identify pristine geo-tourist areas, studies are based on studies and online tourism.
