In advanced countries, urban management is based on the theory of good urban governance to solve urban management problems, especially in big cities. Different global and regional models have been defined for good urban governance and each one has different dimensions and components. In order to establish good urban governance in the country's metropolises, it is necessary to prepare a local model of urban governance for each city separately. Currently, the approach that is introduced as the most effective, least expensive and most sustainable method of applying urban management is "good urban governance". Good urban governance can be defined as the method and process of managing urban affairs with the participation and constructive interaction of three sectors: government, private and civil society in order to achieve a healthy city, with high quality and livability and sustainable urban development. Accordingly, the aim of the present thesis is to realize spatial justice and its role in sustainable development and improving the quality of life in cities, which is practical in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of method. The statistical population of this research is 650 employees of Rabat Karim Municipality, and 242 people were selected as a statistical sample using Morgan's table. In order to carry out this research, the indicators of good urban governance and sustainable urban development were asked through a questionnaire from the statistical population and the data was analyzed. The results show; The indicators of participation, rule of law, justice and accountability in terms of the impact of good urban governance on the sustainable development of the city have more priority than the indicators of transparency, accountability, collective agreement and efficiency and effectiveness.
