The application and development of precision agriculture is one of the necessities of the agricultural sector of any country، which should be considered by all officials and relevant authorities. The main purpose of this research was to identifying the factors affecting the application of precision agriculture from the viewpoint of agricultural experts in Ardabil province. The statistical population of this study included agricultural experts of Jihad-e-Keshavarzi organizations, Research Center and Agricultural Education Center of Ardabil province (N=365), which were calculated using Cochran's formula, sample size (n=169) which were selected by proportional stratified random sampling.The main tool for collecting data has been the researcher made questionnaire, whose superficial and content reliability was confirmed by the expert groups of Agricultural Extension and education, agricultural management and agronomy of Islamic Azad University Abhar branch.. The Reliability of the research tool was also determined through Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.70.). Results showed, among five factors (infrastructure, economic, government and policy, research, and educational promotion) infrastructure factors with an average of 4.29 and standard deviation of 0.86 had the most impact on application of precision agriculture in Ardabil province. According to research results, the research department of new technologies and the agricultural executive sector, providing appropriate financial incentives to farmers for the implementation of precise agriculture, establishing information and marketing centers and the level of government support for precise farmers, recognizing the weaknesses of precise agriculture in the country respectively had the highest priority among factors (educational, research,infrastructural economical, governmental and policy).
